Love Benefit
Designer Jacquelyne Love and her husband, the Beach Boys’ Mike Love, raised more than $200,000 for the Red Cross at their Oct. 10 Fashion for Passion show and concert and the online charity auction that preceded the event. Bidders at the online auction vied for such prizes as a chance to sing “Barbara Ann” onstage with Love and his band, a six-piece custom wardrobe from Jacquelyne Love and a Rio de Janeiro vacation. Following the event, the designer and musician donated $202,000 to the American Red Cross Relief Fund. The couple plans to host another Fashion for Passion event next year.
