L.A. Fashion Week Fall '04: Lords

Lords’ Fall/Winter 2004 collection rocked Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios in Culver City on March 31 when Dave Navarro of Jane’s Addiction opened the show wearing a red snakeskin biker jacket and black snakeskin lace-up pants.

Stylish rocker looks by designer Nabeel Jaber and creative designers Ron Anthony and Tony Sartino included some hard-edged and clean, modern-looking jackets and pants in denim, leather, and exotic python, alligator and ostrich skins. Also featured were beautiful cashmere sweaters, dresses and exquisitely tailored suits. The line included looks from the Lords men’s collection and the label’s growing women’s line.

Models wearing jeans, trousers and leather pants paired with T-shirts, which featured the Lords logo and expressions such as the show’s “Release Yourself” theme, wrapped up the show. —N.J.S.
