Trench, three-quarter-length and double-breasted coats are great catches for Fall. Designers favored all three versions. Trina Turk showed checked and herringbone coats in black and white. Cornell Collins was all about black and white, too, with coats that screamed Jackie O circa 1964. Further back in the timeline was Nikolaki’s 1940s-inspired houndstooth trench.
