Nordstrom Rack Opening in Orange County
Nordstrom Rack, the cheaper side of the upscale Nordstrom department stores, has been on a major expansion around the country.
Adding to that expansion spree, the Nordstrom Rack will have a new home this fall in Tustin at The Market Place, which is owned and managed by the Irvine Company. The store will encompass approximately 32,500 square feet, hosuing clothes, shoes and accessories.
The Market Place is a huge shopping center with more than 120 stores, including: Cost Plus World Market, Target, T.J. Maxx, Dick's Sporting Goods and Best Buy.
"We're grateful for the support our customers in Southern California have shown us over the years and we're thrilled to grow our presence in Orange County," said Geevy Thomas, president of Nordstrom Rack.
The Rack carries merchandise at 30 percent to 70 percent off regular prices from Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com and specially purchased items from many of the brands sold at Nordstrom.
Nordstrom currently operates 22 full-line stores and 31 Nordstrom Rack stores across Southern California.
