BNKR Reveals Opening Date
Before it was hard to imagine that BNKR was coming to a long vacant space in downtown Los Angeles at the corner of Ninth Street and Broadway, a few doors away from the Ace Hotel.
Even when the news broke, the only sign that a new business was arriving was the paper-overed windows that blocked any peek into the grand transformation of a sometimes art gallery into a clothing vendor.
But this week BNKR is making a splash with tall pictures plastered over the windows announcing its arrival with a "G'Day LA' message.
Looks like the Australian-born store is shooting to open some time in July, said their PR person Kendall Sargeant. The total space will encompass 6,800 square feet, which is pretty big for a downtown clothing store.
