What's Chan Luu Doing With Hello Kitty?
Jewelry designer Chan Luu is from Vietnam. And Hello Kitty is from Japan. Somehow the two have come together.
Luu, known for her delicately wrapped bracelets, necklaces and clothing line designed in Los Angeles, is partnering up with Sanrio to make an exclusive collection of handmade jewelry adorned with the famous Hello Kitty icon. The collection will be available in stores in August.
The Hello Kitty x Chan Luu collection will feature a range of Chan Luu’s trademark styles, including wrap bracelets, cuffs and layering necklaces with select pieces accented by Swarovski crystals, fine lace, semi-precious stones and sterling silver Hello Kitty charms.
The collection will retail from $80 for a single bracelet to $208 for a five-wrap bracelet.
