Nike's 2014 Winter Olympics Uniforms
Nike has released its Olympic and Paralympic uniform designs for the 2014 Winter games in Sochi, Russia.
For example, there are silver puffer jackets filled with Nike’s Aeroloft 800 technology with a titanium nano-coated base fabric that retains heat and reflects UV light, and a “winterized” version of its Flyknit Chukka shoe with synthetic wool for warmth and an all-terrain traction outsole.
The Nike Aeroloft 800 Summit Jacket also has “hidden elements,” message embroidered inside the pockets that read “Land of the Free” and “Home of the Brave.”
The Team USA training and village apparel and footwear is equally packed with details and features. The Nike Tech Fleece collection uses a tri-layer fabric to provide warmth without sacrificing range of movement. And the Nike Aeroloft 800 Vest provides Aeroloft 800 warmth with and maximum ventilation.
Got Olympic fever already? You can get the training gear now at Nike.com. The Summit Jacket and Trainer Chukkas will be available in February.
