Promotions at Joseph Abboud
New York–based JA Apparel Corp., maker of menswear under the Joseph Abboud brand, promoted Anthony R. Sapienza to chief executive officer, replacing Marty Staff, who left the company. Sapienza was previously president and chief operating officer of Joseph Abboud Mfg. Corp., the company’s manufacturing division, based in New Bedford, Mass. The company also promoted Kenton Selvey, JA’s senior vice president of business development and brand strategy, who was named president of the JA Brand Group. And Vice President of Sales Ross Gershkowitz was named senior vice president of tailored clothing.
