Cuffz Partners with Celebs for Charity
Los Angeles–based handbag label Cuffz by Linz has partnered with a trio of celebrities to create three custom-designed bags to help raise funds and awareness for several charitable organizations.
Cuffz designer Linz Shelton worked with “My Name Is Earl” actress Jaime Pressly, “My Fair Brady” actress Adrienne Curry and Bacardi rum heiress Carolina Bacardi to design three bags for Shelton’s “Cuffz for a Cause” collection.
Fifteen percent of the retail sale proceeds for each bag will be donated to a different charity. The bag will be carried exclusively on the Cuffz by Linz Web site (www.cuffzbylinz.com).
Pressly’s bag will help raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the hospital and charity founded in 1962 by actors Danny Thomas and Rose Marie. Curry’s bag will raise money for breast cancer research. And Bacardi’s bag will raise money for the Secret Angel Foundation, a Mission Viejo, Calif.–based organization that provides computer technology and in-hospital creative programs for chronically ill children, senior citizens and their families.
“I’m always happy to get involved with a great cause, especially when it benefits children,” said Pressly, who also designs her own apparel and lingerie collection under the J’aime by Jaime Pressly label.
