Pow! Wow! at Port Boutique
After the first day of the Agenda trade show, some denizens of the Agenda show decamped to Port boutique in the Retro Row section of Long Beach for Pow! Wow! Long Beach.
The independent boutique unveiled its collaboration tee shirt with the Pow! Wow! arts group. It’s a Hawaii-based collective that creates art installations across the globe. During the June 28-29 of Agenda, some of the group’s artists were in Long Beach. Port showed works from Pow! Wow! artists at the store
The Pow! Wow! party came on the heels of a party Port had for its capsule collection with the LA Galaxy soccer team. Part of the fun was a World Cup viewing party at June 23 at The Art Theatre cinema, which is across the street from Port. As they say in World Cup games; Goooaaaal!
