True Religion x Russell Westbrook
To celebrate the ongoing collaboration between True Religion and pro-basketball player Russell Westbrook, a point guard with the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Los Angeles–based denim lifestyle collection will host a pop-up shop on Sept. 24 at the Midtown Art Gallery in Oklahoma City.
Westbrook began working with True Religion last year. The latest capsule includes 17 pieces designed to be layered and mixed. There are knits, tees, thermals, accessories, and, of course, denim. Styles have an elongated silhouette and details include side zips, rips, distressing and ergonomic darts. Each piece features the collab’s TR/RW logo and hidden stamps with Russell's motto: "Why not?"
The new capsule collection will debut on the True Religion app on Sept. 25 and launch online and in stores on Oct. 6.
