H&M Arriving in Lakewood
Fast-fashion retailer H&M keeps expanding at a rather brisk pace in California.
Its most recent expansion plan has the Swedish retailer opening a 20,000-square-foot store on Sept. 22 at the Lakewood Center, a large shopping mall south of Los Angeles.
The new H&M location will offer Lakewood residents a one-stop shopping destination for all categories of clothing for men, women, juniors to separate “stores within a store” sections for accessories. This new location will also carry the H&M Kids collection for newborns to 14-year-olds.
H&M opened its first store in the United States 16 years ago with an outpost on New York's Fifth Avenue. It now has more than 430 stores across the United States.
