The Dreslyn, Citizens of Humanity’s Eatery Collab
Fashion blogs reportedly obsessed over the coats bakers wore at Gjusta – a bakery, deli and café in Los Angeles’ Venice neighborhood - it is the rage with restaurant critics and is famous for dishes such as its balaclava croissants and smoked fish.
Downtown Los Angeles-e-tailer The Dreslyn partnered with denim brand Citizens of Humanity for a Gjusta project to go beyond bakers’ coats. It held a press dinner March 9 for the collab for jackets developed for Gjusta. The boxy, workman’s style jackets feature pockets in the front. They retail for $230. Proceeds will benefit the Gjelina Volunteer Program, which builds bridges between the restaurant and community projects and local schools.
