NYC Beachwear Brand, Faherty, Takes It To Newport Beach
Waters are crowded in the swim/beachwear market, but New York City’s Faherty brand hopes to make a California splash.
Next month, Faherty will open in Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach, Calif. It’s the brand’s second California store, the first one took a bow in Malibu. It runs two other shops in the East Coast.
Faherty makes swim and beachwear for men and women. Fabrics for its swimwear are made out of recycled plastics. Its recent men collection is inspired by classic beach styles, its women’s collection bears ethnic inspired prints, according to a brand statement.
