Long Delayed Redondo Beach Pier Project Comes To Life
The long delayed renovation of Redondo Beach Pier might be actually on its way to becoming a reality.
New York Times published a feature last weekend with the news that a multi-million dollar renovation project in this well-to-do town in Los Angeles County’s South Bay is on the horizon. This is after years of delay. It may come before the Redondo Beach City Council in March.
California Apparel News published a story in 2014 following the winding road of the pier’s development. It’s been an issue for Redondo Beach’s chamber of commerce crowd for decades. But a redevelopment plan from CenterCal Properties started gaining momentum in 2012.
If approved in March, The Waterfront project will pave the way for an exclusive boutique retail district in Redondo Beach.
