Macy's: Welcome Visitor!
Aug.11 was a tough day for Macy's Inc. The retail giant announced the closure of 100 stores in a measure to shift its more of its focus toward e-commerce. However, there was some good news too.
The Macy's in downtown Los Angeles unveiled its Visitor Center. It is the second Visitor Center on the West Coast, the first one was in San Francisco. The center will offer brochures, maps and guides for L.A. area as well as tickets to popular attractions. It also will sell destination products such as the store's official Los Angeles apparel.
