Food Trucks to CMC
Food trucks have been the Los Angeles culinary craze for a few years, now they’ve parked at the California Market Center.
Starting Aug 1., an ever changing set of food trucks will park in front of the CMC from 11AM to 4PM Mondays through Fridays. A schedule of food trucks making appearances at the CMC will be posted at this website. Thank Phillip Dane for the food truck fest at the CMC.
Dane, a pop-up market impresario- you may have gone to one of his The Odd Market events in the Los Angeles area– said that the food trucks will not compete with the restaurants doing business in the CMC lobby. None of the food trucks will serve the same menus as the eateries in the showroom building’s lobby.
He also hopes to bring his pop-up shops to the CMC. After Sept. 1, he forecast that he will move some of his Odd Market partners to some of the empty store spaces in the CMC lobby.
