BNKR Store Opening Soon in DTLA
So, almost one year ago Australian retailer BNKR announced it would be opening a store in downtown Los Angeles.
After seeing the dry wall go up and hearing the hammers pounding away, opening date is soon approaching. The company said it is shooting for April 25 or around then to open its doors. A big grand opening is being planned.
The store with 6,800 feet is close to the Ace Hotel and is located on the ground floor of the historic Blackstone Building on Broadway and Ninth Street.
BNKR, started in 2007 in Adelaide, Australia, by Dean and Melanie Flintoft, is known for its fast fashions that are trendy contemporary labels sold at fairly reasonable prices. BNKR's labels include Finders Keepers, Cameo, Keepsake, TY-LR and The Fifth.
It has only one other store, and that is in Adelaide. Obviously Los Angeles is a very special fashion spot for the Aussies.
