Industry Of All Nations Comes To Venice
Abbot Kinney knows clothes with a sustainable and eco-friendly edge. Industry of All Nations, a Los Angeles-headquartered label which makes sustainable goods, recently opened its first company boutique at 1121 Abbot Kinney Blvd. The new shop further adds to the street's reputation as a place for labels which offer clothing mindful of environment and with a socially aware focus.
IOAN makes alpaca sweaters, organic cotton basics, organic denim, teak folding chairs, wool blankets and organic espadrille shoes. The company works with artisans in Argentina, Bolivia, India, Uruguay, Mexico, Indonesia and the U.S. to manufacture its goods. It sells them at 100 boutiques across the globe, said co-founder Juan Diego Gerscovich.
