COS Opens in Beverly Center
COS, the upscale sister store to the H&M retail chain, is quickly populating Southern California.
On Friday, Nov. 20, it opened its second Los Angeles-area outpost in the former Kitson location at the Beverly Center. This is on the heels of opening and closing in one week a pop-up venue in the heart of the Los Angeles Fashion District.
COS, which stands for Collection of Style, has been around since 2007, mostly in Europe and other international locations. But the retailer of all things minimalist and cool is fast discovering California. Its first California store opened in Beverly Hills last year at 357 N. Beverly Drive. That was followed by a 4,165-square-foot space in South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa.
Now comes the modernist space in Beverly Center that has lots of sleek neutral colors and minimalist lines.
Kind of like its collection.
