Kelly Slater: Shredding the Sheets
Here’s a look at the expanding biz for surfing wizard Kelly Slater. After announcing his clothing line Outerknown last year, he introduced Kelly Slater for PBteen. The bedding and homewares line for teens feature sustainable and recyclable materials. An April 30 party was held for the line at the World Surf League Headquarters in Santa Monica. In attendance at the festive event was Oleema and Kalani Miller, designers of stylish, runway-ready swim line Mikoh. The party was held in support of Oceana, a group of foundations working to protect the world’s oceans.
