Ace Hotel X Apolis: Good Fashion District Citizens
Call Ace Hotel a good Fashion District citizen.
The boutique hotel chain has a fervent cult following and a location in Los Angeles’ Fashion District. In the past year or so, it has worked on collaborations with a handful of fashion businesses, which are based around Los Angeles’ Fashion District. (Just to be double and triple accurate, the actual headquarters of these brands are in downtown Los Angeles and in the wider big, bad Los Angeles area, or they just have a major presence in the Fashion District.) Items from all of these collabs were sold at the Ace Hotel.
Check these out; there was a Made In USA small leather goods collab with Tanner Goods, which runs a high end downtown Los Angeles boutique a block or so from Ace Hotel. L.A. Streetwear heroes Undefeated did a boxing themed capsule collection with Ace. And look what popped up in my email today; Ace’s collab with Apolis, headquartered in downtown’s Arts District. The collab’s Transition Scout Shorts look like the perfect gear to explore downtown’s wildlife.
