Athleta Opening Fifth Store in LA Area
With the continuation of the athleisure trend, Athleta is populating the Los Angeles area with its fifth store.
The shop will open on Thursday, July 30, at The Point in El Segundo, just one of many stores that are getting ready to spiff up for the shopping center's first day.
Other retail outposts joining Athleta on opening day include Lucky Brand, Prana and Michael Stars, as well as a number of restaurants.
Athleta is a division of Gap Inc. and has athletic and everyday apparel designed by women athletes. The store will feature a broad assortment of performance and lifestyle apparel that mixes on-trend styles with technical fabrics for a range of activities including studio sports, outdoor training seasonal sports and performance lifestyle.
The Athleta store at The Point will offer a personalized styling service, complimentary hemming, free fitness classes and in-store discounts for fitness professionals.
The Point, developed by Federal Realty Investment Trust is located at the corner of Rosecrans Avenue and Sepulveda Boulevard. It is next door to Plaza El Segundo.
