Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th to Beverly Connection
A lot of shoppers should be clapping their hands with this news.
Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th, the outlet store for the very high-end Saks Fifth Avenue department store, is reconfiguring a 27,000-square-foot space at the Beverly Connection for a major two-story outpost across the street from the Beverly Center shopping area on La Cienega Boulevard.
It is taking over the space of what used to be The Corner Bakery and DB Shoes, sharing the shopping center with stores such as Nordstrom Rack, Target, Marshalls and Ross Dress for Less.
Off 5th already has two stores in Orange County (at Metro Pointe near South Coast Plaza and at The Outlets at Orange) and one at the Ontario Mills in Ontario, but in recent years there has not been an Off 5th anywhere in Los Angeles County.
The new store, which doesn't have an opening day set yet, will have an airy, modular layout and have designer fashions for men and women. Off 5th already has 79 other stores in the country.
