Demi Moore and Daughter at Torrid Event
Plus-size retailer Torrid went all out to showcase its Holiday collection at a cocktail event hosted Thursday night by Rumer Willis, daughter of actors Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, in the penthouse of the Chateau Marmont.
On hand was Torrid Chief Executive Lisa Harper as well as Liz Munoz, senior vice president of design, who joined a rash of models and fashionistas, including celebrity stylist Maeve Reilly. Also on hand were TV personality Kristin Cavallari and one of Torrid's top models, Georgina Burke, the 25-year-old Australian who made Torrid's plus-size array of swimwear sizzle.
Joining Willis at the event were her sister Tullulah Willis and her mother, Demi Moore.
Torrid's Holiday collection highlighted the latest party trends. Also on display were shoes and statement jewelry, displayed in lacquer cases. "We offer uncompromising plus-size fashion with an exceptional fit," said design head Munoz. "Our clothing has attitude."
California-based Torrid was one of the first retail chains to offer trend-forward clothing for young women sizes 12 to 28.
