Gap in DTLA?
There’s been a much ballyhooed renaissance of high-end boutique retail in still gritty downtown Los Angeles during the past 18 months or so. Now it looks like contemporary retail is coming to the burgeoning enclave. Gap, the biggest specialty store on the globe, is coming to downtown Los Angeles.
Barricades for a Gap Factory boutique have gone up on the 700 block of South Broadway in downtown Los Angeles. It’s a couple of storefronts down from a popular Ross Dress For Less location. It’s also across the street from reminders of the gritty downtown; a dilapidated, grafittied-up multi-story building.
