Vintage Fashion Expo in LA This Weekend
For those searching for that special piece of vintage clothing, head on out to the Vintage Fashion Expo this weekend at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The show, being held May 17 and May 18 in West Hall B, features scads of vintage clothing, jewelry and accessories.
The event has been around for decades. In 1987, a small group of dealers in San Francisco recognized the growing interest in vintage fashion and joined together to create the Vintage Fashion Expo. It started in San Francisco and later expanded to Los Angeles.
It attracts designers from around the world, as well as collectors and vintage enthusiasts.
The Vintage Fashion Expo is operated by a group of partners who are dealers themselves. They include Fred Dueball & Elizabeth Normoyle of Luxe vintage in San Francisco; Robert & Kristi Alvarez of Vintage Blue Moon in Southern California; and Kyle Deise & Kari Smith of Regeneration Vintage in Los Angeles.
