Jen Awad started her fashion career with designing rock club ready looks for self-named fashion label, and her collections sported monikers like “Hot Mess.”
Her Fall ’14 collection was made for women not necessarily partying at rock clubs. It was called Bachelorette, and it featured mod-looking patent-leather overcoats and cocktail dresses, as well as a fitted lambskin blazer dress. A serious black color was a major theme during the show. Some featured looks included velvet coats with vintage alpaca fur trims, a black beaded lace gown.
