Mansion Trade Show to Debut in Las Vegas
Atlanta-area production company Collab Avenue plans to host its first fashion trade event, the Mansion Trade Show, in Las Vegas Aug. 17–19, said Aubrey Gilbert, the show’s assistant director.
The debut Mansion Trade Show will offer booth space for up to 50 vendors, Gilbert said. The event will be located at a Las Vegas–area mansion. (Gilbert declined to divulge the address before the show.) Vendors will exhibit around the mansion’s pool. The show’s producers also are scheduled to run a bloggers dinner on Aug. 17. It will also offer platforms where models will display the vendors’ clothes. Gilbert hopes the show will create an atmosphere different from other trade shows.
“We’re trying to keep it as exclusive as possible,” Gilbert said. “It will not be a competitive location. It’s somewhere where they can go and feel comfortable.”
