Tiffany & Co Illuminated
Fashion documentaries are in vogue for writer/director Matthew Miele. He directed 2013 documentary “Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf’s.” He announced recently that he will be making a documentary on Tiffany & Co. and its founder Charles Lewis Tiffany. According to a biography, the 19th century entrepreneur not only started the venerable jewelry company bearing his name, he also worked with Thomas Edison to create footlights in order to electrically light stage shows. Illuminating!
The Tiffany & Co company has authorized the documentary, according to a statement from Miele. It is scheduled to be released in 2015.
