Talking Sex and Fashion Photography
Photography is just as much a part of the creative element in fashion as design.
With that in mind, a special panel discussion will be held Sunday, Jan. 19, at the 23rd annual photo l.a. fair being held at the Los Angeles Mart, the furniture showroom building south of the Los Angeles Fashion District.
Heading up the discussion on sex and fashion is Joe Zee, creative director for Elle magazine, who will talk about the blurred lines of sexuality and what is accepted as appropriate in the world of fashion photography. The discussion is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Photo l.a. is taking place in its new home, the Los Angeles Mart at 1933 S. Broadway, and at various galleries around town. There are photo exhibits and a wide array of panel discussions during the event being held Jan. 16-19.
