It's hard to keep these two well-known Los Angeles designers out of the limelight.

Veteran creative forces Sue Wong and Kevan Hall will be showing off some of their elegant fashions on Jan. 15 at the Los Angeles Jewelry, Antique & Design Show, being held in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center from Jan. 15-19.

The evening fashion show will benefit the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising's Museum Fashion Council, which is trying to raise money to purchase the Helen Larson Historic Fashion Collection. The collection consists of 1,400 clothing pieces from the 1600s to the 1930s assembled by Los Angeles resident Helen Larson.

During the fashion-show evening, models wearing pieces by the designers will circulate among guests and pose on pedestals.

Scott Diament, president and chief executive of Palm Beach Show Group, organizers of the LA Convention Center show, said clothing and accessories are as much an artistic masterpiece as paintings or sculptures. "They allow individuals to experience art in a personal way," he noted.
