Kitson last week moved to a new space in beautiful, stylish, but very Newport Beach retail center Fashion Island.
There had to be a housewarming gift for the swank new store. How about some urban-style graffiti?
Artist Justin Niklaus, AKA Just1, tagged up a porta potty to be the men’s dressing room at the entertainment-retail boutique.
One panel of the dressing room got the word Cali on it, another the hashtag KitsonLA, yet another has a heart with a crown on it. There’s a mirror in the fitting room to view Kitson’s merchandise such as Aviator Nation. But there is no, shall we say, plumbing in the fashionable porta potty. A Kitson representative said that if the dressing room proves popular, it might be rolled out to other Kitsons.
