Hour glass figures, pin-ups, modernity.
Tatyana Khomyakova sought to mix all of these inspirations for the Bettie Page Spring 2014 season line.
“The guiding principle of the designs is to emphasize the “hourglass” figure,” Khomyakova said. The line’s dresses updated silhouettes of the 1950s, but made further nods to the current era by using new fabrics.
During the brand’s Style Week fashion show, it showed 33 looks under which fell under the theme, “Of Ships and Polka dots,” Looks included light nautical dresses and summer cocktail dresses. Anchors aweigh!
