Boho chic is one of the year’s most popular styles, and designer Stephanie Lampkin plans to push the possibilities of bohemian style.
In the case of the Spring 2014 collection for her Odylyne label, which she showed Oct. 9 at Los Angeles Fashion Council shows at The Grove retail center, bohemian style could be inspired by Indian and Moroccan looks. For Odylyne’s Spring 2014 looks, the traditional styles are interpreted in silhouettes such as harem pants, long, backless dresses and one-shoulder dresses.
Lampkin used materials such as silk chiffon, crepe de chine, beading and gold foil thread to tell this bohemian story. The silhouettes are simple, but loose and flowing, so any woman can wear them, Lampkin said.
