Trina Turk Eyes New Store Model for Upcoming Atlanta Outlet
Trina Turk has been very busy these days.
She is getting ready to open her eighth store in Atlanta this summer, but trying out a new look.
The Phipps Plaza store that debuts this July won't resemble her other stores with their bright tones. Instead it will have California modern neutral tones so the bright clothing she designs will stand out. This new store concept will be the model for all new stores to come.
Meanwhile, Turk, who started her Los Angeles-based ready-to-wear line of clothing in 1995 with resort-like prints, has been working with M-Edge, a Baltimore company that makes tech accessories.
She has designed a collection of iPhone 5 cases that are printed with Trina's colorful patterns. She has also designed covers for iPads and iPad minis with bold influences.
They look fabulous.
