TEXbase Names New Chief Executive
TEXbase—the leading provider of Web-based product compliance, quality and materials management software solutions—named Wayne Huyard as chief executive officer. Greg Gianforte was appointed to the board of directors.
Huyard joined TEXbase as president in September of 2012 as part of a strategic growth initiation by TEXbase founder Joe Walkuski.
Prior to TEXbase, Huyard served as president of RightNow Technologies, as well as an executive at MCI, WorldCom, Verizon and Cerberus Capital Management. Huyard also sits on the TEXbase board of directors.
Gianforte has entrepreneurial experience in the software industry, having started five successful firms and founded the Bozeman, Mont., cloud-based software company RightNow Technologies in 1997.
Under his guidance, the company grew to more than 1,100 employees worldwide and more than $225 million in annual revenues. In 2011, Gianforte sold RightNow to Oracle for $1.8 billion.
In addition to the recent executive announcements, TEXbase announced its launch of the RSL Guardian (SM) to assist apparel and footwear brands manage restricted substance lists (RSLs) across the supply chain.
Dedicated to strategic product development, the company’s introduction of the RSL Guardian will offer standalone solutions or serve as an integrated part of the TEXbase solution that will enable brands and consumer-product companies to manage raw materials to end product.
The advantages include the ability for users to share libraries, develop standards and test products across the supply chain. The real-time collaboration network also allows users to work together to manage and test products according to compliance provisions.
