South Coast Plaza has long cultivated a reputation for elegance, but with the help of Dior, the luxury center put it on a unique display.
On May 10, it hosted pop-up gallery Dior Couture Patrick Demarchelier at the center’s Jewel Court. Along with installations of gowns, the boutique-sized gallery told Dior’s history with Fashion Photographer Demarchelier’s portraits of Dior’s bar jackets, views of the fashion house’s special shade of red, and installations of Dior looks.
The gallery will stay open until May 28. Yes, it is free to the public. After a reception at the center’s Dior boutique , South Coast Plaza’s Elizabeth Segerstrom hosted a sumptuous dinner at the center’s Garden Terrace, which was catered by Bouchon Bistro of Beverly Hills.
