Tavik Expands With 12 International Distributors, Additional Staff
Tavik, a Southern California lifestyle brand known for its premium activewear, is expanding.
Last year, Tavik partnered with technology-based product maker Incipio. Since the partnership, Tavik has expanded its product offerings to include technology accessories such as the Pentry and Grip Tape iPhone case for Apple.
The company added 12 international distributors, two North American sales agencies and eight new internal hires, including product managers, fit technicians, men and women’s apparel graphic designers, in-house sales support, and marketing personnel.
Tavik partnered with a number of international distribution partners over the last six months, including consumer electronics that mainly target fashion boutiques, core accounts, Apple Premium Retailers and other consumer electronic channels.
The company recently signed its East Coast sales agency, CSB Industries Inc., a New York–based sales and marketing agency with more than 15 years of experience in the action sports and lifestyle industry.
Tavik recently announced another addition to its North America sales team for Canada—the Brasier Agency Group, led by Gareth Knocker. Knocker comes with 17 years of action sports and lifestyle experience, most recently with Hurley as the Canadian national sales manager.
Internally, Dorota Korczynski was named head product manager. Korczynski has more than 12 years of experience in developing sample and product delivery for Burton Snowboards and Oakley. Tavik also hired Lyra Kelly, who has more than eight years of experience in garment design as technical and fit designer for Analog, Burton and Sole Technology. Jordan Raths, a graphics and apparel designer formerly with Burton, was added to the Tavik team, as well.
“We could not be more excited to round out our team with such great talent,” Tavik founder Erik Paulsen said.
