Sanuk Teams Up With Surfer Malia Manuel
Sanuk footwear goes where the surfers go.
So it only seemed fitting that Sanuk should sign Malia Manual, one of the top female surfers from Hawaii, as a brand ambassador for the footwear line that has a patented sandal called a "Sidewalk Surfer."
Malia, now 20, is one of 17 women competing on the ASP Women's World Tour. She also rides for O'Neill, Mayhem Surfboards and VonZipper.
"We're incredibly stoked to welcome Malia to our family. Malia will provide an authentic female touch to Sanuk and she exemplifies "Smile… Pass It On!," said Sanuk Marketing Manager, Tommy Campagne.
Sanuk was founded by Los Angeles native and surfer Jeff Kelley and later acquired by Decker Outdoor Corp., the company in Goleta, Calif., known for their Ugg boots.
