Rock ‘n’ roll has been one of Los Angeles-designer Jen Awad’s perennial inspirations. But for her Fall/Winter 2013 collection she shifted gears.
“Boardwalk Empire meets French Revolution,” Awad said of the collection’s inspirations.
She exhibited the 20 looks of the collection at Orphic boutique in West Hollywood on Aug. 29. The collection’s looks included smoking jackets for women, fluid gowns and heavy, velvet party coats.
