Complete Clothing Buys Vernon, Calif., Warehouse
Complete Clothing, owner of Southern California lifestyle brands Matty M and Willow & Clay, purchased a 24,000-square-foot warehouse in Vernon, Calif.
In 2009, Complete Clothing began leasing the 1-acre plot, which now includes an office building housing sales and in-house accounting, as well as a warehouse space serving as the corporate base, a shipping distribution center and a design headquarters for the bohemian and leisure brands known as The Factory.
The company employs 68 people split between the West Coast headquarters and its East Coast showroom in New York. The new location has room for the company to grow, said John Meyer of Complete Clothing Co. The space, dubbed “The Factory,” will “serve as a corporate headquarters acting as a functional, collaborative environment,” Meyer said. “As we have spent the last year investing in software and hardware to find greater efficiencies in our business, we felt that additional work also needed to be done with our creative and office space.”
Matty M and Willow & Clay are available at department stores, over 300 specialty boutiques, and online retailers including Nordstrom, Von Maur and Piperline.
