B&H Co. Selects YuniquePLM
Gardena, Calif.–based vertical apparel maker B&H Co. selected YuniquePLM FS product lifecycle management software to help streamline production processes while the company grows its domestic and international business.A division of Tolland, Conn.–based Gerber Technology, YuniquePLM was created for apparel, accessories and footwear makers looking for a collaborative solution. YuniquePLM FS—FS stands for “fast start”—will help “B&H’s technical design, pattern making, product development and production teams to communicate more effectively on tech-pack details,” according to a Gerber statement.
Waleed Mansour, chief financial officer of B&H Co., said the YuniquePLM will help the company “manage our information and our business processes. YuniquePLM will also enable us to shorten product-development times by providing the members of our production team access to information through a single integrated system.”
Founded in 1988, B&H Co. manufactures knit tops for an international roster of retailers. The company’s more than 80,000-square-foot facility has knitting, dyeing, cutting, sewing printing and finishing facilities.Gerber Technology is owned by Vector Capital, a San Francisco private-equity firm that specializes in the technology sector.
