Burton's Long, Strange Trip
Sign at the Burton party tells it all.
The snowboarder’s cry of ’Pray for Snow’ might join the credo of classic rock band Grateful Dead, ’What a Long, Strange Trip It’s Been.’
The Burlington, VT.-headquartered snowboard label Burton debuted snowboards withart from classic rock band Grateful Dead, specifically the covers of records 2 From The Vault, Terrapin Station as well as the iconic skull and roses images that seem to announce any Grateful Dead event. The party took place at the Burton flagship store located at 8175 Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles.
Appearing at the party were Burton snowboard rider Danny Davis, David Lemieux, the Grateful Dead legacy manager and DJ Turquoise Wisdom, spinning Dead tunes. Rhino Records CD called Grateful Dead Road Trips was handed out at the party where food truck Vchos handed out excellent munchies. Dude!
