Project Moves to New Location for New York Show
Project’s New York show is moving to Manhattan’s Pier 92 after Hurricane Sandy caused “significant damage” to the original location, Pier 90, according to Project President Tommy Fazio.
Both the upcoming Jan. 21–23 Project show and the July show will be held in the new location.
“This is my first step in creating the most compelling menswear show in the marketplace,” said Fazio in a company statement. “We feel that brands should be able to showcase their product in creative ways that fully express what they are all about. The space available at Pier 92 will afford them this opportunity while creating an even more dynamic show for attendees.”
Last month, Project named Fazio to the top spot at the biannual trade show, held in New York and Las Vegas. Fazio was the men’s fashion and trend director at Nordstrom and has held executive positions at Simon Spurr and Bergdorf Goodman, as well.
