Michael Stars Opens Its 1st Outlet Store
The Los Angeles–based casual contemporary brand Michael Stars is known for running 11 boutiques across the United States, but on Nov. 8, it held a party for its first outlet store. It is located at the Paragon Outlets Livermore Valley in Livermore, Calif., which is a one-hour drive from San Francisco.
The 1,492-square-foot outlet shop will sell Michael Stars’ basics, sweaters, dresses, outerwear and activewear at a reduced price tag, said Michael Cohen, a co-founder of the brand.
“Michael Stars’ outlet boutique will offer a premium-brand experience with high-quality clothing at attractive price points,” he said.
The brand will open more Michael Stars outlets if the Livermore shop is deemed successful, said Kelly Coffey, Michael Stars’ public relations and marketing manager. “Right now our focus is expansion in the Southern California market. We are looking to open two more boutiques within the next year, namely an iconic beachside location and another Los Angeles flagship store,” she said.—A.A.
