Weltenbuerger Eyes L.A.'s East/West Rivalry

It’s been just over a year since the Weltenbuerger boutique opened in Los Feliz on Los Angeles’ Eastside to showcase new designers from L.A. and Europe. In July, Entrepreneur Bryan Sanderson will open a second Weltenbuerger location, this one will be on the Westside , at 1221 Abbot Kinney Blvd. in stylish and bohemian Venice Beach.
Sanderson does not plan to settle the rivalry between Los Angeles’ Eastside and Westside. But he might have found some middle ground. “Los Feliz and Venice are the creative epicenters of L.A.,” Sanderson said. “The scenes are not that much different.”
He plans on merchandising more cold weather clothes as well as bright, beachy clothes for the Abbot Kinney shop, but otherwise the two Weltenbuergers will sell offer similar lines such as Factory by Erik Hart.
