Robert Prather Joins Business Credit Services
Robert Prather was named senior vice president, sales and marketing, for Business Credit Services, an accounts receivable–management company with offices in Los Angeles and San Diego.
Prather has more than 20 years of experience in accounts receivable–related fields, including chargeback-resolution management and vendor-compliance issues. At Business Credit Services, Prather will work on new business development and assist with the introduction of additional services for the company’s new and existing clients, according to James Mixa, president of Business Credit Services.
Founded in 1984, Business Credit Services provides accounts receivable–management services, including credit management, first-party invoice collection, chargeback and deduction resolution, and customer-payment application. The company’s proprietary accounts-receivables software, Axcelerate A/R, is designed to manage the entire receivable process. Axcelerate A/R is Web-based, allowing clients to access it from any secure location. The company aims to improve its clients’ A/R turnover and cash flow and reduce the costs and personnel issues associated with in-house A/R departments.
Business Credit Services’ clients range from start-ups to companies with an annual volume of $250 million.
