Do Fries Go With That Stussy?

There’s Roberto Cavalli Vodka, Tommy Bahama restaurants, now pioneering streetwear brand Stussy debuted a collaboration with Plan Check Kitchen + Bar, a hipster burger joint in Los Angeles’ Little Osaka neighborhood. Plan Check debuted in February after Ernesto Uchimura, a founder of the popular Umami Burger, decided to start another restaurant. Plan Check mixes gourmet burgers and comfort food.
Stussy provided the T-shirts for Plan Check’s bartenders, wait staff and chefs. The stylish shirts mix the idiosyncratic Stussy and Plan Check logos. The Irvine, Calif.-based label also provided inspiration for the menu. Interested in an International Stussy Burger and Worldwide Tribe Fries?
The collaboration started because Plan Check’s founders were friendly with Stussy executives.Uchimura said the collaboration menu and uniforms would stay up until June. Also spotted at Plan Check Monday night,Simone Legno, creative director of the Tokidoki label.
