International Roxy Winners Are Announced
For the last four months, Roxy has been conducting an international contest to find three girls to live the life of the Roxy Girl.
And the winners are in after nearly 5,000 submissions from more than 80 countries.
Roxy announced that Katie McLean of Santa Barbara, Calif., Emilie Layla Lovaine of Wales and Madison Setiawan of Bali, Indonesia, were the lucky three who submitted photos and videos explaining what makes them a Roxy girl. Roxy is a surf label manufactured by Southern California clothing company Quiksilver.
The winners are from different regions of the world but they all have a love for the water and art.
The three will be attending the Roxy Pro Biarritz, a major surfing contest and beach festival in France from July 10-14. They will also have the opportunity to receive up to $5,000 and surf with world-class Roxy-sponsored athletes.
